This is an autumn/winter flowering evergreen that is somewhat tender. My plant generally grows around a metre. The frost touches it but I don’t know if it would actually kill it. Longistyla likes average moisture though it survives dry if given a bucket of water from time to time.
The red flowers are an unusual shade of dark red which reminds me of lipstick but may not make everyone think that.
It has a long prominent style in keeping with its name.
Usually in stock.
