‘Celestial Blue’ is a particularly nice variation of a 3 way cross I believe of clevelandii, pachyphylla and leucophylla.    It was imported into Australia by Plant Growers Australia about 2005.

‘Celestial Blue’ can grow to about 2m as a tidy bush,  maybe more than a metre wide.  Foliage is grey and evergreen,   mauve flowers are in summer.   It is easy enough to grow by cuttings.

Californians generally do not tolerate humidity well and prefer an open sunny position.  Frost is not usually a problem, especially of an established plant.
